Super Tuesday

Olives and Precious united in a friendly game of bowling on Tuesday along with a few friends of GVI. It all kicked off with the shoe hire which was quite entertaining to say the least. The slippery floor along with the upbeat music was all we needed to break the ice, and thankfully not a few bones!

We had a nice turnout of both volunteers, local teachers and friends. The teams were mixed and the atmosphere was great. It was smiles all around.

One of our star players of the night was Madam Grace. She stole the show with a sequence of strikes and managed to do so in a killer outfit. What a lady!

Another star player was Mr Stephen of Olives. He had never bowled before and after one brief lesson, he was knocking every pin while remaining as cool as a breeze. Maybe it was beginners luck??

The night was a huge success. After all the hard work that each individual puts into the project, it was awesome to see everyone enjoy themselves. In the end, everyone was a winner. I think the title is fitting for this blog as it really was a 'Super Tuesday!'
