Farewells at Precious Vision School

Today was our last day at Precious Vision School, and even though our time at the project has been brief, we found it sad to say good bye to the children and staff there.

Our class!!

They threw us a mini party and sang songs that incorporated our names, which meant so much to us and really made us realise our time here in Mombasa has made a difference.

We found our final farewell to the children and Madame Jane (the headmistress and founder of Precious Vision School) a rewarding emotional experience, especially as with the help of GVI Madame Jane has achieved so much and her passion is so inspiring to all.

Today’s class, the last day before the Easter holidays, the children made beautiful paper butterflies which was enjoyed by all.

Our beautiful butterflies!!

The children were also very excited to receive our parting gifts of an exercise book and a pencil, so they can keep on studying over the Easter break!!

We wish Precious Vision all the best for the future and look forward to coming back to see the further developments!!
