Face painting fun!

After taking a couple of classes with Standard 3 at Precious and having not yet made that vital connection with all of the kids we were looking for a bit of magic, and it arrived in a box of face paints!

In a typical GVI volunteer team effort Chris provided the idea and the face paints. Cami and Viv helped us out with the art work.

The kids were so excited and it was amazing to see their smiles and personalities of even the quietist kids emerging all around us. We had the breakthrough we were looking for and an acceptance of us in their classroom that has continued and made teaching each and everyone of them an absolute delight.

All that was needed was a fun activity where academic ability was irrelevant. We think the pictures tell the story.
