Underwater Extravaganza

Ziggy Livnat of "For the Sea Productions" offered standards 7 and 8 of Olives and standards 6 and 7 of Precious Vision the opportunity to experience life beneath the ocean via underwater photography. The award winning film maker, conservationist and educator visited Bombolulu to share with the students a comparison of the Caribbean Sea and Red Sea plus footage he'd recently taken right here in Mombasa!

The students were amazed by the imagery and eager to learn more about marine ecosystems. There was certainly no shortage of questions following the presentation. From the diet and habits of particular species to the function of coral reefs, the students listened intently to Ziggy's explanations and busily took notes.

Many thanks to Buccaneer Diving for inviting the students and making the delivery of this interactive presentation possible.
